The Gabriel 89427 GasSLX is a premium, heavy-duty adjustable gas shock absorber designed for Class 7–8 trucks, school buses, and transit buses. Its three-position adjustable damping allows you to select the desired ride and handling characteristics—from maximum driver comfort to increased control and a firm OE-style ride.
The GasSLX design uses specially formulated high-temperature fluid and a multi-lip Viton rod seal to reduce friction and wear in demanding operating conditions. A chromed piston rod helps resist corrosion and provides a consistent wear surface for long-term durability.
