The Phillips Industries 15-328 Auxiliary Vertical Dual Pole Socket is a heavy-duty electrical socket designed for auxiliary power applications on commercial trucks and trailers. It is commonly used with trailer battery packs and other high-current auxiliary electrical systems.
The socket features a durable zinc die-cast housing, solid brass electrical pins, and a stainless-steel hinge pin and spring for long service life. Offset pins provide initial ground contact to help reduce the potential for electrical arcing.
The 15-328 includes copper lugs for 4-gauge and 6-gauge cable, with a 1/4-inch stud size. It is rated for 150 amps continuous and 200 amps intermittent service and mates with Phillips Industries 15-338 and 15-339 vertical dual-pole plugs.
